EUDSD - enVision Universal Device Support Development


Description


This course provides an understanding of the process to add additional device support to the RSA enVision engine as well as providing a deeper insight into enVision's ability to parse message data. Students will acquire the knowledge to add support for undefined messages and unknown devices to their system; enhancing the usage of the compliance and security capabilities provided by enVision. This class is lab-intensive. More time will be spent working on projects than in lectures.

Who Should Attend

RSA enVision administrators and system developers who want the capability to administer new device support on their timeframe. This class will also benefit anyone who requires a stronger understanding of enVision's database tables and fields. Prerequisites for this course are functional knowledge of computer operations and networking fundamentals. Attendance in the RSA enVision Administration course.

By the end of this course students will understand the process of extending RSA enVision support for other devices. They will have learned how to map data to RSA enVision fields and tables as well as how to establish new devices and message definitions.

Certification

Upon completion of this course students will receive a certificate of completion.
Students may elect to take the online RSA enVision Certified Systems Engineer (CSE) exam in passing will become an RSA enVision CSE.
