Title: Inside Sales Representative (Ottawa)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Cold calling to generate sales of existing products and services to multiple individuals over the telephone.
• Your goal will be to meet or exceed quota by selling specific products to new and existing customers and to increase the number of active customers.
• Generate qualified meetings for the outbound sales force.
• Qualifying potential opportunities based on the information gathered.
• Enroll and promote customers to attend the seminars/training. Execute marketing programs via email blasts or customer follow up calls.
• Develop and maintain the corporate profile in all target accounts.

• Document notes and key information on conversations with customers/prospects.
• Provide competitive product and market intelligence to corporate marketing.
• Maintain corporate information on potential and existing customers by keeping the customer profiles up to date at all times by gathering required company, contact, and lead-generation information.
• Acting as the customer contact for all Cyberklix activities both marketing and sales. In addition providing support to help resolve customer problems.
• Developing and enhancing partnerships with the principals and their representatives working in your territory. Communicating effectively with the business partners, supported by a communication process and plan.
• Leveraging the Cyberklix technical team to assist customers in developing security and network architectures.
• Preparing sales forecasts and reports to monitor sales performance
• Escalating any issues to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Inside Sales experience in a network security company.
• Experience in making outgoing cold calls
• Experience in selling software, services and training
• Experience in selling Security Solutions would be a plus
• Able to meet daily call volumes and 'activity metric' requirements
• Able to maintain a high level of knowledge on technical products
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Good telephone manner
• Strong organizational skills
• Works well in a team environment
• Possess an understanding of basic sales and marketing principles
• Possess knowledge of computer systems in a Windows environment

This is a Contract position to work within the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

• Proficient in presenting the company value proposition and corporate presentation.
• Securing strategic accounts with the target markets.
• Enroll and promote customers to attend the seminars/training. Execute marketing programs via email blasts or customer follow up calls.
• Technical acumen with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in support of opening and closing sales.
• Provide competitive product and market intelligence to corporate marketing.
• Maintain corporate information on potential and existing customers by keeping the customer profiles up to date at all times by gathering required company, contact, and lead generation information.
• Acting as the customer contact for all Cyberklix activities both marketing and sales. In addition providing support to help resolve customer problems.

Title: Security Operations Centre Security Analyst
Organization Unit: Information Technology
Type of Employment: Full Time


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Security Operations Centre Security Analyst is a member of a team who proactively manages IT security on behalf of customers to reduce the impact of security incidents and system compromises. They will provide security monitoring, event analysis, and countermeasure proposals.  

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities (included but are not limited to the following):

    •Detect security issues, create customer tickets and manage problems until closure;
    •Coordinate escalations and collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure timely resolution of issues;
    •Ensure that Service Level Agreements are met;
    •Perform system maintenance and maintain current documentation;
    •Provide resolution plans for system and network issues;
    •Report common and repeat problems (trend analysis) to Management and propose process and technical improvements.
 
Qualifications:

Minimum four (4) years directly related practical experience within the last eight years, and demonstrated ability to carry out the functions of the job.  
Technical requirement may vary depending on client specific operating systems and applications.  
Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience with three or more of the following:

    •UNIX, AIX & Solaris, Linux, Windows Server Operating Systems
    •Internet Connectivity and Protocols (TCP/IP)
    •Wireless Networking
    •Security Operations Centre/Information Protection Centre/Computer Incident Response Centre
    •Enterprise Security Information Management systems
    •VPN Communication Protocols
    •Switches/Routers (basic configuration)
    •Network/System Intrusion Detection or Prevention Systems
    •TCP/IP networking, VPN, VLAN, NAT and security concepts
    •Firewall
    •Asset Management
    •Security threat and attack countermeasures
    •Ability to conduct in-depth forensic analytical studies and investigations

Non Technical Skills  

    •Analytical Problem Solving skills
    •Efficient communications skills (listen, write, oral)
    •Strong troubleshooting, reasoning and problem solving skills
    •Team player with ability to work autonomously
 
The ideal applicant will be required to work 24/7 shift pattern, including weekends, on a rotation basis.
